So, I snatched it up for a tenner at the Steam Sale and what do you know... I like the game immensely and now I'm beating myself up for not getting in on groundfloor...
Contradictionz, I has them.
And just now I bought the best game coded ever. Saints Row 2. Yes, IT IS THE BEST GAME CODED EVER. alright? Don't fight me over this, lol.
In fact, SR2 is right up there with FF7 for me, though not comparable. For me, SR2 is a true sandbox and I have wasted hours of my life just going around the gameworld mugging NPCs and picking fights with the police. And riding a highpowered bike into upcoming traffic. And picking fights with other gangs. And costumizing cars. And dressing my toon up (and down too).
SR3 in that respect is SR2's antithesis almost and I have clocked considerably less hours in SR3 as a result. SR3 is just not fun. I'm so looking forward to recreating my hispanic gangsta-girl and doing it all again in a game when Saints Row still had a point and when Saints Row was still the coolest franchise out there.
The police in Stillwater had better prepare. Because Hakima will pretty soon stalk the streets again. With a rocket launcher.
