Next on my list is to replay Dead Space and Killzone campaign. I've noticed there aren't many games coming out for a while that I'm interested in, so I may pick up the new/old Riddick game. I have $30 worth of Best Buy Reward Zone certificates, so it would be like getting it for half price which would make the nasty looking graphics seem not so bad.
We saw Monsters vs Aliens yesterday. Great movie - it was better than I thought it would be since it seems like the computer animated kids/family movies lately have been getting worse and worse. Shrek 3 was terrible, Open Season 2 was terrible, etc... My son really liked it but it was a bit scary in places. He really thought the Star Trek trailer was cool - "wow, cool space ships!" When I first heard of the movie I thought, "ugh, just let the Star Trek thing rest for awhile," but the trailer makes it look really good.
We're going to see the Cherry Blossoms today in DC today. Past few years have been kind of cold, so hopefully today will be nice. The hardest part about the whole thing is the parking. We live in kind of an unusual place in relation to DC in that by the time we'd drive to a Metro station, we could have just driven into DC, so I guess we'll be hunting for parking.
We have been looking at replacing the flooring in our Kitchen/Family room and can't decide. We were first going to do laminate, then tile, but the tile we liked (and it took forever to find one we liked) we could only find through this one store that wanted $15,000 to do the two rooms. No thanks. So we tabled it and just lived with the nasty carpet and torn up vinyl floor through the winter. Now we're thinking about it again and leaning towards laminate and doing the whole second floor - Kitchen, Family Room, Dining and Living room. I did see something that said laminate doesn't work well in high traffic areas, which since we're in a townhouse (its big though) we have definite high traffic areas. Maybe one day we'll actually be able to make a decision on this stuff. We can never decide what we want on these projects. Last year it was new deck furniture. Ended up not buying any because we couldn't make up our minds. Then the floor. So many of our house projects never get done because we can't settle on what we want. Our honeymoon ended up being scheduled 2 weeks before it and we just went to the Poconos - why? Because we couldn't make a decision! Cruise? no, Hawaii, no, Bahamas, no... I guess we just need someone to make the smart decisions for us.
