When you wake up with a panic attack at 4:17am becuase what you thought was gonna be this nice little commentary on the status of the modern era black family,? A panic attack induced because the following names are in play, and possibly will contribute:

Denzel Washington ~ yes theeee Denzel Oscar winner Denzel Washington is rumored to be up for the role of "Master Chief" in Fox/Universal's film version of the Microsoft/Bungie videogame sensation Halo. That's according to the Dark Horizons movie news website.

The site did not cite a source for the rumor, which comes on the heels of the news reported earlier this month by the Associated Press that Washington had met with filmmaker Peter Jackson in New Zealand to discuss working together.

Donnie McKlurkin, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond ~ multi-instrumentalists, producers and vocalists

Darryl James ~ (My new best friend) an award-winning author ( "Bridging The Black Gender Gap" ), lecturer and filmmaker.

Pastor Clenard H. Childress Jr. is the New Jersey Director of the Life Education and Resource

Michael Clark Duncan ~ that big ole guy with the deep voice from "The Green Mile"

Juan Williams ~ syndicated washington Post Columnist, NPR and FOX New

Denzel was seen going into WETA (Jacksons Special Effects company)and that's how this rumor got started. He was there however, about a different movie: http://www.newsvine.com/_news/2006/06/30/273781-denzel-wants-jackson-to-... This was going around in July and I thought it had been dismissed by now. I personally think that Denzel would make the movie a "box office" hit but the charactor would have to change too much. Denzel is a great actor and if your gonna pay his price you better get him a script that will get your moneys worth from him. I don't think Master Chief will do that. Michael Clark Duncan would be great! (he should have gotten Best Supporting Actor for Green Mile) Also, the part would be good for the Rock, Vin Deisel, or my pick: Ron Pearlman.
