A brand new day

I suspect I'll be blogging a lot in the coming days as I adjust to my new life of being "between jobs".  Sure, I could write one big, rambling blog -- but I like them short and sweet.  I was up until about 2:30am playing a game that just came out (the game that will not be named, MTK) but still got up at 7am this morning to get my kids ready for school and to start doing laundry.

I'd like to share a little story with you that is helping me through all of this.  A friend of mine, who is in his mid 50's, grew up in the Gulf Coast region.  When he was a boy, they had to evacuate their home due to a pending hurricane.  When they returned, they were surprised to find their house to be one of the few still left standing.  But when they opened the front door, they found that the floor was covered with close to a foot of mud.  Without saying a word, Kenny's grandmother went to the garage and got a shovel.  She then started scooping up the mud from the floor and dumping out in front of the house.

"What's done is done, Kenny", she told her grandson.  "It's time to get on with living."

Seriously should have pulled the stems out of those other folks' tires. :D\r \r I'm putting the good mojo in your direction. There's going to be another offer coming down the pipe that will be bigger, badder and better. Cuz I said so.\r \r
