Cautiously optomistic

I'm starting to see signs of interest out in the job market for me.  I've been purposefully slow in putting my resume out in the public domain, but now recruiters are starting to pounce on me.  One recruiter called me today, based on a job I had applied for, and told me that I'm setting my sights way too low and that I'm worth $25K-$50K more than the job I had applied for (and that he was representing).

Now, he may just be blowing smoke up my skirt.  I'm not so naive to think that a recruiter has anyone's interest at heart over his own, but it still feels good to know that someone smells money when he's looking at my resume.  If everything pans out right, this lay-off may just turn out to be a 4-5 month paid vacation before a decent little bump in salary.

That said, I'm trying not to let my emotions swing too far in either direction.  A lot of that has been going on -- my mood swings have been crazy through this whole thing...

Oh and I almost forgot:  Super Mario Galaxy is INCREDIBLE!!!
