Enter the Macaracoon

Last night, as I hit level 23 in Viva Pinata, I was introduced to the Sour Macaracoon.  This viscious little bastard likes to show up in your garden after you've romanced a couple of pinatas and eats their offspring before the eggs hatch.  In order to turn the sour macaracoon into a good macaracoon, you must first be a "master romancer" for 5 different species.

I had already accomplished "master romancer" for buzzlegums and sparrowmints, but was surprised that I hadn't done so for any others considering the amount of breeding I've done.  It turns out that to be a "master romancer", you must have 7 of a given species in your garden at once.  So I frantically began breeding wirlms, bunnies, and fudgehogs.  I lost a few eggs to that son-of-a-bitchin' macaracoon in the process, though.

Let me tell you, once you convert a macaracoon to the good side, they are some crazy critters.  The run around so hard and so fast, you might mistake the sound for a helicopter circling your garden.  I'm not sure what role they will play in the grand scheme of my garden ecosystem, but something tells me they will be important...
