My first ever blog

I have to be honest.  I'm not a big fan of blogs.  Most people just aren't interesting enough to blog.  Being interesting or profound takes work for most people -- myself included.  So for every 1 blog that I find that is entertaining or interesting, I run across 100 others that just make me shake my head.

There can be such a thing as "too much technology".  Back in the good old days, if I cared about what you did today, I'd sneak into your room and steal your diary.  If I wanted your opinion on something, I'd beat it out of you.  If I wanted any lip out of you, I'd jiggle my zipper.  Come to think of it, I guess all those things could get me slapped, punched, arrested, or some combination thereof.   Maybe technology isn't such a bad thing, everyone should just "blog away" and we'll all take it upon ourselves to distinguish the "signal" from the "noise".

And I promise that if I ever do blog, I'll try to make it worth your while.
