No blocking a bullet, my friend is dead

A friend of mine and fellow boxer, was shot and killed last night.  Scott Huggins was one of my fellow tough-man fighters and one of the only 2 guys in my age group at the Medina Boxing Center.  The Medina Center was know for taking in troubled hispanic youths and teaching them respect -- for themselves, for others, and for the sport of boxing.  Scott had taken on the role of coach and mentor at the gym over the last couple of years.

He was a big guy, and a tough fighter.  Though only 44, he was a grandfather.  He was also one of the warmest and friendliest people I knew.  Last night, while filling up his car at a gas station in north Milwaukee, he was approached by three men who demanded his money, then shot him to death.

I'm shocked and stunned right now...
