I just switched gyms to one that is about 2 minutes from my office, so that I shouldn't have any excuse to not work out daily. As part of the sign-up, they had a deal on having a personal trainer for 4 sessions, so I figured "what the hell". I show up for my first session and this pretty little girl introduces herself as my trainer.
The strength routine she put together for me has put me in more pain than I've felt in a long time. And I've been lifting long enough to recognize this as the good type of pain. Still, I have to take 4 Aleve tablets just to sleep I'm so sore. I guess I don't know as much about the inside of a gym as I thought. Maybe I'll start reading manuals and asking for directions now too.
