Syd Barrett the founder of Pink Flyod has died today at the age of 60. Syd was and will always be one of my musical heroes and one of the biggest influences on my music style. A troubled genuis for sure but he certainly deserved more respect from the music world.

Rest Well Syd, You will be missed.

Holy shit. That totally blows, at age 60?? I guess thats good considering all the drugs and alcohol he probably partook in over the last 30 years. Pink Floyd is one of the most powerful bands around, lyrically and musically. I loved the Division Bell just as much as I did Wish You Were Here, and Momentary Lapse of Reason. All great. -CM
