I am not purchasing a substantial amount of "new" EA software in the next year, due to their chosing not to allow me to drive Porsches in a game that by all rights (in my opinion) should be allowed to have Porsches in it.

The following is a list of games I will not be purchasing this fall, that I most likely would have purchased:

NFS: The Run
Mass Effect 3
Star Wars the Old Republic
Battlefield 3
SSX
Burnout Crash
So, $60 x 4, $50 for SWTOR + $15 a month x 12 for a sub = $470 out of a possible $485 EA would have had in their pocket from me in the next year, strike that, 4 months.
multiply that by 1,000 Porsche enthusiasts(I'm sure there are more than 1,000)
$485,000 or if there are 10,000 that will follow me down this path $4.85 Million dollars.

Maybe this will hurt EA maybe enough that they'll stop screwing with us.

even though I wasn't going to buy any of those games anyway, count me in on the protest. Not having Porsche in a raving game is like not having grenades in a FPS, you may not need it to play, but you WILL notice something is missing.

It's sad that EA does something like that. Their NFS series has always taken a back seat to Forza and the GT series. Now they seem to be sabotaging games to make up for their lack of ability to make a solid racer. I'll be purchasing atleast 1 EA title, i will play Forza 4 and miss the Porche brand. As a stock holder in EA, I'll be voicing my distaste for their stupidity very loudly with a lot of foul langauge. I'm wondering if we gamers bought stock in these companies and became more owners over these types of idiots if they wouldnt keep making so many idiot mistakes.

Does EA really think that people will buy a second rate racer just because it has Porsche in it? If so, then they are more idiotic than I thought. Besides, I've always had trouble getting Porsches under control in Forza anyway.

Good luck with your quest... I on the other hand could give a shit. Porsche's handled like shit in FMS anyway, unless you really spent a bit of time tweaking.
