It's been awhile...

Since my last entry. To start off, my little daughter, Ciara Preciosa, turned one year this past August. I was amazed, I never seen a baby gag on there first birthday cake. Well it was kinda funny, to see that plus get the icing everywhere...her hair, face. and hands. Just can't wait to embarass her with the photos and movies later in life. I guess that s why I feel so blessed to have a child. I go through 20 years in the military having no children and never thought I could have any. I am just glad that I didnt stay past my 20 years cause I would be missing out alot of things with her. To hear her say "DA DA" melts my heart. I am pretty sure she will have me and my wallet wrapped around her finger. Just recently in the past week she started walking. First it was a running take off from the edge of the couch for a few steps now with in one week she is walking room to room. I must have spent 4 hours one night just filming her walking for the firts time. I guess the best way to describe it is, she walks around with her arms up looking like frankenstein...hilarious.

This past weekend I introduced her to what it means to be a Ohio State Buckeye fan. I gathered everybody up and went down to the Ohio State Southern Campus, thats BW3s in Jacksonville, to wathc the games and have some food. Me with my Troy "Heisman" Smith jersey and her OSU cheerleading outfit. By the end of the game I got her to start raising her arms for touchdowns. She got a kick out of it.

This weekend is another story, the inlaws have a condo on the beach for a week nearby and we're heading there to stay for the weekend. Just have to find me a place to watch the games against Texas somewhere. I think my daughter will love it, it'll be the first time she walks on the beach.

Another big milestone is my one year anniversity at my job. Time flew by.
