XBOX 360 #4 DEAD

Thats right 360 # 4 no go! First the history of my Boxes' #1 Boy, I was so happy to find a core system in Jan. When 360's were harder find than a virgin at a rap concret. I then went on the hunt for a HDD since i had to get the core, i was lucky to find one at target the last one around. Went home began playing freeze reboot,freeze,reboot,freeze reboot Boy this is not fun at all. Called it in got a coffing sent Kudos to MS because with the weekend 5 days later I was playing my newly refurbished Xbox 360..Woot! I thought it happens but they took care of me so alls well.

 

Fast Foward a few months #2 Begins this "to play this disk please insert in a 360" deal..Great eject/reinsert tray a few times all was well. It generally became more consistent and sometimes I had to try 10,15 times to get it to read the disk.....Called it in, got a coffin of it goes. Maybe 2 weeks or so later Got my same box sent to me with a new disk drive all seemed well alittle frustrated but It happens.

 

A few months later, #3 I come home turn on the Box it asks me to update Xbox Live(fall update) it DL's the update, reboots and BOOM! 3 red lights of death..Call it in ,coffing sent ,3 weeks later get a refurbished box again. But this time I notice This one has pry marks on the back the serial # sticker is not properly on! This got me concerned So i call support to tell them the condition I recieved this Box in state UPS has just dropped it off within the last hour so there is no confusion on if I did it or not. Support asks if it works( i hadnt even tried it yet) we check it out all seems fine he notes my concerns and condition of said Box and says all is well.

 

 

Today 3/7/07 Turn the box on Put in Marvel:UA I notice the graphix are not very clear and they Blurred and the colors are washing into eachother. So I pull up the blade to go to dashboard the blade is the same as the game. So I shut it down, restart NO PICTURE I have sound but no Video. Try other inputs on the TV try another A/v cable No Go........So I call it in Support has try it another TV with both sets of cables No picture ,no red lights I can hear it boot up But I have no PICTURE.........I politly demand that I get a brand new 360 this time! I get escalated to a supervisor Who asks the same redundant questions checks to see if I keep having the same problem and if somehow this is my fault. He then say they have a new Dept. Just started for people who have multible repairs the Repair/replacement tier2. HE said this person will call me with thier Phone# and ext.# and will handle all repairs for me from now on. My personal repair consultant.This person is going to contact me today between 6 and 8 pm tonight.

 

This should be interesting not sure what to expect is this a new way to handle customers with several problems or does this have something to do with call about the condition I recieved this box ie: prymarks and such?

I very concerned ,Because I WILL NOT LET THIS ONE GO. I want a hassel free process and I want a brand new manufactured in 2007 360 Nothing less will do this I am prepaired to fight anyway I can I will not get screwed over this time, I will not just let it go because the fight is not worth the reward! I am staying calm ,cool and collected on the outside but I am boiling inside!

UpDate:   MS support agent called me back, talked real fast and basicly he wants to restore my faith in MS and will request corprate to send me a NEW box and he should get back with me in a WEEK!!  Thats right he said a week ........ So far my I am not impressed.....We will see

If there's only one thing Nintendo has over Microsoft, it's top notch customer service. From what I've read of other peoples posts, not only do they not ask you questions and make you try a bunch of crazy tests over and over, they ship you a new box and give you a completely new warranty as opposed to just an extinsion. Microsoft should take note. I've had to return mine twice. Once for freezing and disk scratching and the second time because it wouldn't connect to XBox Live, it took days of arguing to convince them it wasn't with my internet service. In fact, it wasn't until I lied and said I had changed services and modem that they agreed to send me a cofin.

Also, pass out the number if it doesn't work, we'll all call and harass them.
