Coming week

Well, the weekend is almost gone and this next week will be full and busy!!  I will be out of my office the next two weeks during the day so no site chat for me  I will be playing a part in training a new hire so I have that to look forward to.

The 2o4duty Call of Duty 2 Olympics are now completed and Stang98k has taken the gold with SgtPayback as silver.  Me?  Heh, Heh, I was last but that's okay, I had no illusions as to where I would be.  I just wanted to play.  TexasTwister made a comment that one of the reasons he enjoys playing with these guys is that although you may not be up to their speed in play, they do not point out the obvious and will on occasion apologize if they happen to kill you in succession.  I have to fully agree with him.  I have fun.  I'm just waiting for the Special Olympics for those of us with handicaps.

Dastard and I went to see the latest Harry Potter movie and made the mistake of going to the first show of the evening (after matinee times).  Way too much talking and kids crying.  I even had problems hearing the dialog on the screen.  It was frustrating.  To top it off, we really weren't impressed with the movie.  I really hate to say that but there was too much of the story to try to piece together without making it choppy.  I'm looking forward to the last book coming out next week.  Unfortunately, this assignment will have me busy during that time so Dastard is claiming first read.  Fine, but he better not spoil the ending for fear of female retribution!

Would you rather
Have to give a crucial business presentation in baby talk
or
give the presentation with no verbal communication at all while holding a cuddly teddy bear and a soft fuzzy blanket?

Have a great week and might see some online for Shadowrun or COD2 or Halo 2, who knows.

Keep on Go!

A soft fuzzy blanket. Of course training a new hire sucks but don't forget you were in their shoes at some point in your life too.
