Friday COD4

Today begins my four day weekend of COD4 goodness.

I restarted the game last night on veteran and completed the first two mission and now I'm stuck in the TV station in the third mission.  I started the evening trying to get into a team deathmatch to start earning experience points and ended up sitting in a lobby by myself for five minutes with two separate sets of clans entering and then dropping after a member of thiers was dropped.  So, I gave up and restarted the single player.  It was early and those already on were involved with games so I just continued my game play.  I did get some invites but then could never join.  In fact, at one point I got a message that said my playlist was older that the host's and to restart xbox live.  WTF?  I finally gave up.

I'm going to try again this morning before my 11 o'clock and see what happens.  Right now everyone is so far ahead of me in rank that a lot of the different games are unlocked for them but not me.  This sucks.  Oh well, I have the weekend to fix this.  Plenty of time.  I must admit it was nice to see some of the members playing with the clan that have been absent.  And for those who think they aren't as skilled as some of the other members... keep playing.  This clan is not about getting into rooms with the same skill of player.  It is to have members available to play with no matter the skill level.  How else do we get better if not by playing and watching how others play?  And that is from someone who has been there, is still there and is doing that!
