It can only get better (after Wednesday)

I'm having a small pity party for myself today.  I see the first three days full of blech that will be a drain on my wallet.  Today, took car into Honda so THEY could diagnose my air conditioner compressor being capooot.  I have to have this done before they can offer assistance with its replacement.  They will also be looking at my rear differential that my other mechanic said was nothing.  Of course, Honda is saying if I had brought my car into them at 30,000 miles, they could have checked this.  IF the RD is the problem.  I shall find out tonight how much I love my Honda dealer.  Not looking forward to that.  Honda just called and they recommend that the fluid for the rear differential and see if that will help otherwise it will come down to a replacement also.  GRRRR.

Tomorrow morning I head into the dentists office to learn the cost of wisdom teeth removal.  I have one that has breached my gum line but is not causing any problems other than being a great way for bacteria to enter my bloodstream and causing an infection.  Not good.  Plus, I'm a wimp when it comes to dental work so I want to be completely sedated.  That's extra.

And Wednesday I go in for my MRI on my lumpy boob.  Again, I'm really not worried, just something else on my plate this week.

OK, pity party over, unless someone wants to bring balloons and cookies.  Soft baked chocolate chip cookies.  Naw, forget the baked, just bring the dough.  Hmm, what goes well with cookie dough?  Banana rum and diet coke!  May have to do that this weekend and watch some H3 or maybe play a bit.

It's been awhile since a Would you Rather so here it is:

Would you rather
Eat a cup of mayonnaise
Or
Eat a cup of horseradish?

30,000 miles and your air compressor is capoot? Not good, not good at all. Wisdom teeth? Don't do it. It's an unnecessary surgery, very costly and very painful. I heard that a sonogram is way better than a mammography. Less risk. Banana Rum? Sorry i just threw up in my mouth. Excuse me for a sec. Horseradish. I'm on a diet. :)

LOL eks, I actually had the sonogram and mammogram last week. This is a followup to them. As for the banana rum, I would rather have that then horseradish.

Horseradish. No doubt. Clean the sinuses. Good luck with the Honda. And wisdom teeth don't hurt that much- I didn't feel a thing with a local with an Air Force dentist yanking all four. No worries! What I didn't like was the addled state of mind I had with the drugs they gave me. Nearly electrocuted my face when I almost passed out and was about to drool into a powered up piece of gear! Thank goodness my lab partner shoved me off the bench stool. I'd have never lived that down. Bruised butt &ego >fried eyeballs. :D boob sammich *still snickering*

Dont worry too much bout the tooth I dont think it will be too bad. I felt a cavity in my back molar by my wisdom tooth(I had two left)went to the dentist and they recommended pulling that tooth and the wisdom next too it(upper rh). They felt that I might be able too save the molar with a root canal but would most likely lose it and be out the expense. My lower wisdom thats still there and has been protruding for at least 10 years they said to leave it. As long as the gum is healthy and keeps the bacteria away from the tooth along with my not having any pain- they said leave it. the lower jaw is like marble as well and some risk of nerve damage as we get older upon removal, they said its uncommon but possible. My medical insurance covered the extraction but I hadnt met my deductible yet so-$500. It was bout $1200 to pull molar and wisdom, bout 200 more for the lower one and my outa pocket if I wanted to be put under woulda cost me $53. The oral surgeon was awesome, I slightly felt the second shot other than that-NO pain til bout 2 hrs later that was a week ago last thurs-no problems. They did say though some people are uncomfortable with the "pressure" of the removal, I was fine with it but everyones different. good luck with that and your car issues.

You must own a CRV, I used to work for Honda, now at Acura. If your rear diff. is making noise, just try changing the fluid, works most of the time. If your car is just out of warranty, a dealership mostly looks at your service history to determine if you are a repeat customer that pays for the services. That is the biggest determining factor in helping you with goodwill warranties.
