It's so sad you have to laugh

My Xbox Elite, of five months, has decided not to work anymore.  Yeppers, the screen is freezing.  And not just on one game.  So, for the second time this year I called MS and requested a coffin.  Oddly enough, no red rings of death.  BAD timing.  The oldest stepson is having friends from his other school up for the weekend, it is a four day weekend for me, the COD4 Beta is going on.  Not a good time for the box to die.  This was a release box too.  I stood outside BB before they opened to get one..Not that it was necessary, mind you, but I did it anyway.  Now I wish I had given my token to a clan member who is still without.  Oh, well, all is not lost, we still have the white box and it still works.  I just won't be able to enjoy the games lounging in bed.  yeah, I know, poor me. *sigh*

But, I will take this as a sign to get involved with other things.  My back is healing and I'm getting more range of motion each day.  Stretch, ice, and rest.

I went to a local horse show today and watched a friend participate in a couple of classes.  She did really well for not having ridden in twenty years.  The first set of classes she was consistently second and then third so overall points got her Grand Champion.  W00t!  I'm inspired to start riding myself, when my back allows, of course.  I got the bug again.

Anyway, I will give my n00b impressions of COD4 tomorrow.
