Time Flies

I cannot believe it is the middle of November already.  Time just marches on and the next thing you know, bam!  Where did the days go?

It's been two weeks since I had my wisdom tooth pulled and I had to go in yesterday because I still have pain associated with the extraction site.  Plus, they never gave me a dental syringe to irrigate the site so yes, there were some particles in the deep dark recess.  Blech.  But, the associate inserted an anesthetic tape into the wound and today is the first time since the surgery that I have been pain free.   Unfortunately, it will have to be removed tomorrow, but it is nice right now.  There was a strong, and I mean strong taste of clove oil when she first inserted the tape and it has now since worn off, but after the initial OMG, it was kind of nice to have that smell.  At least I knew I didn't have too bad of breath.

I'm still having trouble with KOD 4 MP.  I can get into the random ranked matches and have leveled up to 5 (still too low) but cannot connect to someone who has sent me an invitation.  Yes, I have checked the NAT and it is Open and always has been.  The next suggestion is that I try and host a game and send out invitations or try rebooting.  This is very frustrating.  I didn't have this trouble during the Beta, why now? 

So, I play the campaign.  I'm slow, but I enjoy the challenges.  My stepson is still ahead of me, but I have restarted the first missions on veteran to up my practice and try to continue to sharpen my skills.  Especially since I'm still working on a dull blade to begin with.

It is hard to imagine that the holiday season is already here.  I'm looking forward to the Christmas music.  Thankfully, the radio station hasn't started yet.  I'm not ready yet.
