For those who have had shoulder surgery or lost the use of your dominant arm for a period of time, I salute you!  I have been watching Don struggle to do everyday things with his right arm strapped to his side and although he is managing, it isn't easy.  No, I didn't butt in unless he was having a difficult time with something, like a childproof cap on his medicine bottles (damn things anyway) and he is managing.  I finally got him home last night around 8 pm after getting his meds from the pharmacy.  The doctor gave him a script for oxycodone and he took one last night and he was out.  He said he slept really well, but was unsteady on his feet this morning.  I really don't think the medical community is fully aware of the potential for this narcotic to have residual effects on a lot of people.  This is the stuff that my cousin OD'd on and my aunt almost OD'd on.  But, he is doing well and we will be picking him up tonight and have him over for dinner.  At least get him out of the house for a bit.

Before I left the house to get Don from the hospital, I was playing Shadowrun on solo missions and realized I really miss this game in the online community.  I even got the prima reader to help me with the maps I'm soooo unfamiliar with so when I get back to playing I have an idea as to where I need to be or just where I'm at.  Of course that will have to wait until after tonight!  The Call of Duty finals are tonight for my division.  This should be interesting!!  Another late night, but oh, well, I'm not working tomorrow, just driving Don to his appointment.  No biggy.

Oldest step son has a job interview today with Best Buy and I hope he gets it.  The phone conversations he has had with the store managers seem to indicate that he is high on their list as a new hire. He would really like to get this job.  Of course, having an insider for me and Dastard would not hurt either!!  We still haven't heard about his brother and if he will be joining us as another occupant in the house.  Still have our fingers crossed. Hehehe, nothing like a little slave labor to help around the house and yard!  It is nice to have someone available to run errands to the store, etc so I can just come home and get to work on supper or something else.

Would you rather
Be trapped alone in the mountains with no chance of hiking out
or
be trapped on a deserted tropical island?

Keep on Go!
