Transformers and other news

The movie ROCKED!  If you haven't seen it, GO!  If you have, well, GO AGAIN!  I couldn't leave, I was so riveted, my bladder was about to explode. (Serves me right for drinking a water bottle before the show)  The young man who plays Sam is really good.  The computer animation is WOW.  I just can't say enough about this show.  From what I could recall there was no swearing, I think I heard a Darn.  There was no blood or guts, even considering some of the scenes with all of the explosives.  There are a few bodies blown about, but that is really about it.  If you think your kid can handle the fast paced action and super huge machines, take them.  There is violence directed towards humans.  Use your judgement you know your kids and what gives them nightmares.  This is not a movie to wait until it comes out on DVD.  See it in the theater if you can to get the full effect.

On to the other news.  Oldest stepson is holding his first LAN party here tonight.  Which means Dastard and I, more likely just me, will be sent to our room for the night.  They are taking the 360 and big screen tv and leaving us with a tiny computer monitor that doubles as a tv.  The boys will be playing Halo 1 & 2 all night.  I can't imagine what the house is going to look like in the morning.  Ah, well he will have fun and give him a chance to really get to know some of the kids before he enters the high school.

On a side note, I promised Zikan I would be on last night playing COD 2, but by the time we got home and dinner was done, I had such a migraine, I went to bed while Dastard and oldest stepson where playing each other in Halo.  Still have a small headache this morning but I need to get some things done so I'm off.
