During my first run Ed was always complaining about being sad. I finally decided to send him on a suicided mission, but he pulled it off. I almost got Maya killed in the process.
On my second go round I plan to play the game out until the last mission. At that point I am gonna sandbox it until all supplies are gone off the map. I wanna see how long you can actually survive with the resources given. I am even going to try and recruit the most people as possible. That way even if people are starving I have more life.

Looking good. I saw some gameplay there I haven't seen in other let's plays, like the usage of the egg-timer. Oh, Have you been to Kirkman's house yet? I saw in a let's play his name flash by during a survey-mission.

Haha no I didn't know about Kirkman's house. I will have to keep my eye open.

Undead Lab's offices are in the game too (revealed by them themselves in a developer-playtrough so not a spoiler).

Gotten the game too and thought I had figured it out pretty quick. I don't know how adaptive SoD is to play-style, but it is pretty damn good at throwing curve-balls.
Marcus died in the first hour of play. I was setting up an outpost perimeter with him and he got overwhelmed by run of the mill walkers... my female survivors like to get torn apart by feral zombies. Lost three girls to them already. Screamers, Swat Zombies and Big Uns aren't a problem, but the ferals... I hate them.
I have had several zombieraids on my homebase and they happen each time I'm trying to get to Marshall so that I can relocate. It's also the point where my allies like to get in trouble.
I think I made a mistake with my outposts by choosing to select points on the outskirts of the first town. I should've created a buffer between the homebase and the town in hindsight.
Fanfavorite Maya Torres is still alive, though if she ever comes to harm I'll consider that simulation fubar, lol. Though I see each death as a failure...
This game really delivers. It's tense and intense. Right now I'm hoping that the simulation isn't killing people off. I have to have dinner, lol.
