Who knew the zombie apocalypse could be so much fun...

If you haven't tried out Undeadlabs first game State of Decay you are really missing out. For 1600 MSP you get one hell of a game. Even with its bugs it is so much fun and they don't hender gameplay much if at all.

I finished the story this morning after roughly 25 hours of gameplay. After the credits ran I decided I would go back in and use some of the weapons and ammo I had collected along the way. Feeling like Rambo I decided to take on a Horde not knowing an friend was right outside ,as well as another horde and more zombies.

All I can say is sorry Ashton. Your memory will live on forever. May you rest in peace...

Man, that looks wicked awesome. Is your toon  a set-piece, or can you fashion your own toon? I'm a huge fan of dedicated zombie-games (Not counting that AMC Daryl Dixon game, rofl), but somehow this title flew in under the radar for me. Haven't been on the 360 in ages, and I noticed  the title when I did some rockband yesterday after a long absence.

I wonder, would it be possible for you to write a full review of it? I'm mighty curious about this title.

As far as toons go you actually play as a community of people. You do not get to customize their apperance.

Basically they way it works is "Death" is permenant. So as long as you have community members you still have lives to play with. You recruit more members as you play, but they can leave for being unhappy, get killed randomly while you are offline, or die from being sick. The world keeps going while you aren't there.

This game is basically a 3rd person shooter, a RPG, RTS, and a Horror Survival had a baby. As far as a review goes I don't really have time, but I do agree with IGN's review. If it wasn't for the frame rate and clipping issues this game could be a possible 10 in my book. The bugs do not hinder gameplay. They are just minor annoyances. First patch is comig this week.

They are working on a PC version as we speak as well as adding co-op. This game is a test to see if they should make this world/story into a MMO. After selling 250,000 copies in 2 days I imagine we will see alot more from Undeadlabs.

Yeah, I did a lot of research, been to Undeadlabs' website and was busy for the rest of the day watching let's plays. It most certainly is a game right up my ally, but I'm holding out for the PC-release. (That is, if I contain my 'haftaplaydisnao!' instinct, lol I'll prolly end up buying this twice, XBL and Steam.)

@Yem,

Yeah... MMO... Nah, the way SoD seems to be set up it is more a thinking man's game than anything else. But that's just me talking, though.

I'm absolutely loving this game. I can't put it down. It's a $60 dollar game wrapped up in a $20 XBLA title.

Cat, I think you'd probably like it. It's a great game and if it does well, they want to make an MMO "sequel"
