Why am I blogging today? I guess I am bored at work. I am near the end of moving all my crap out of my house and into a new apartment (I was just recently divorced by my wife). I had a Kit Kat this afternoon. I am between internet connections and cannot socialize on Xbox Live for another week. I need a haircut. I enjoy eating at Texas Roadhouse. I was born in Illinois.
These are all perhaps insufficient basises (bases? what is the plural of "basis" anyway?) to blog, but if you add them all up, I just had to blog today. First things first. I am bored at work. I would leave, but then I would just go home and pack up the second-to-last Jeepload of crap to take to my apartment. No hurry there. Plus my boss might get upset. Hey, that tied into my second blog topic: moving. Actually it pretty much summed up all I was gonna say about moving. That and the fact that I am glad I am almost done moving. What a pain. Then I have to clean my house and prepare it for sale. Not fun.
Next topic: candy bars. Kit Kats are good. Milky Way may be my favorite, except when I'm really hungry - then I need a Snickers. For pure decadence, I like to go for a 100 Grand or a Caramello. For breakfast, the only candy bar that would suffice is a Twix. It has the extra nutrition of all that cookie bar crunch in it. I would say Crunch or 100 Grand cause it has cereal built-in but they just don't seem right for breakfast. Best new candy bar of the last 10 years? I would say a Reese's Fast Break. Feel free to disagree with that one, I don't care.
I am going to try out AT&T U-Verse at my new apartment. Installation is scheduled for 12/10. Then I can get back on XBox Live. I will have to give up DirecTV though. Bummer.
I need a haircut.
I will be eating at Texas Roadhouse Wednesday night. I can't wait. Ribeye smothered in sauteed mushrooms, here I come! Plus a couple tall draughts to wash it all down.
Illinois where I grew up is very flat. They had a good corn harvest in my hometown this year. If you visit, tell my parents hello.
So long for just a while...
