Armada99 has helped me like COD again

I had written W@W off until the last map pack. Banzai might be the best MP Map I have ever played. 2old2shoot plays on Wed. Nights but there are a few of us that play it during the day and at night. Look for me through Nogame's friend list (Angergasm) and I will play anytime and help you rank up.

I have been playing W@W pretty exclusively. \r \r Anyone know what is up with the new map pack? I can play them locally, but on XBL none of them ever come up in the rotation.

There is a playlist called map pack or something like that. They don't come up in the regular rotation. Doodi I will carry you not only in WoW but this game as well :p.

I'm not sure how different the games are given your biggest complaint of lack of variety. It too forever to get new maps for COD4 and W@W had the same excessive gap between launch and new maps. Although you're playing it 7 months after release so you're getting the benefit of not having to wait for those new map packs that people who bought at launch had to wait for.\r \r I'm increasingly beginning to think that it's better to buy AAA games 6 months after release. By then there's new content and it seems like there's an increasing trend to re-issue the release as a GOTY edition at a discounted price WITH the extra content that people who bought the game at launch have laid down 20, 30, 40 bucks to acquire.\r \r Case inpoint, i bought Fallout 3 on an after xmas sale for 40 bucks. There were so many games to play, that i never got to it until well May is when i was looking at playing it. But then they released the GOTY edition that is going to have all the DLC bundled in ($40 worth) for $49.99 . So i quickly sold it new and unopened for waht i paid and i'll pick it up when the GOTY is out, it just make sense for a single player game. Not sure how much sense it makes for a multplayer but still, it has me wondering.

You can find a bunch of us from Antiquity, 2o2Shoot, and PCP thru the 2o2proom2 FoF tag from the community playdate. I’d be more than happy to chip in and help you suck. Antiquity has been playing public matches a bunch since the release of the last map pack. So there’s a good chance my fellow clannies would chip in as well.

I think W@W is better than COD4 as a whole. I prefer COD4's modern weapons. I also like the map design on many of the COD4 maps. But the improvements to multiplayer make W@W better. And the new map pack is aawesome.

Or any other night with PCP members. Usually we have good turnout most nights.
