So my original blog had this long explanation of the history of MMOs, the difference between PVP and PVE, a detailed look on our experience at Gamesday Chicago and the ultimate reason we went there; which was to play Warhammer Online. Unfortunately like everything I do on this site, I was distracted by PMs, emails, site chat, and other nonsense so I accidentally close my window about 5 paragraphs into my blog. So now that everything is lost I'll just be brief. We went to Gamesday to demo Warhammer Online, a new PvP based MMO from Mythic. We waited in line for 2 hours. We played it. It was good. We liked it. Here are some pictures. Done. Clicky on picture to make them bigger.

I wish it was just attention span, and not money. It was the hardware arms race that finally pushed me to buy a console system. And this was around the time of Quake 2.

Thank you for posting a pic of the minis. This is after all where it all started.

I wish I had the attention span and/or Money for a good enough PC to play those games. Consoles are the prescription for people with short attnetion spans, thank god for easy save systems.

Nice monitor. That's the one I have at home.
