I'm certain that by now many of you have played Mass Effect a third or fourth time. I recently received a copy from Gamefly and its like crack. You have to do one more...then another. Now, I'm not an uber Sci-Fi nerd, but you don't have to be to enjoy this game. Even those of you who wouldn't get within 10ft. of an action-role-playing title will enjoy this one. The story is outstanding and even though it has its faults in combat, gameplay and zero-gravity theory, this game is nearly perfect. I chose an Earth-born Vanguard for my first volley. We'll see how it shakes...

There was 5 other people playing the game on my FL last night, and I thought it was funny YOU ALL were playing a Vanguard, lol! I finished up my second time through the game yesterday (Female, Renegade, Adept on Hardcore difficulty). Damn... Adepts are unstoppable at the end, Singularity is bar far the best, and most fun power in the game. I love sucking in 5 or so enemies and watching them circle about the air helpless while your team lays waste to them. And... I already started up a third playthrough. I am taking my Adept again as she was at level 52 at the end of her first playthrough. This time up, I'm going for the Insanity AP, level 60 and the Liara and Ashley Ally APs. The only prob I am going to have is I will have ZERO tech, meaning no opening a shit ton of locked crates, etc in the game. But that's no big deal, I have like max credits, omni-gel, and the Spectre X class weapons, and some pretty sweet armor. This is definitely an awesome game. The side Assignments are really the only downer, as they aren't all that interesting, except a few. The main story though, is awesome.

Oww Kez, no tech? Its not just crates but 90% of the enemies are geth! Tech is a must have in my opinion.

Yeah no tech. I'll see how it goes on insanity. With my adept and liara we have a TON of powers to incapacitate a lot of enemies, which should outweigh the non-tech powers. Flying drones I can stasis and still damage them (hehehe, Bastion class FTW!). If it's too tough, then I'll start up an engineer on Normal, just to get my Liara and Ashley APs (oh and the use X power 75 times).

Yeh, Vanguard just seemed like the logical choice...maybe it was the demons of Shadowrun...
