Halloween Mode: Zombie Films

I'm getting into Halloween mode. It's one of my favorite holidays.
I was doing a forum sig for decayedyouth yesterday that had a zombie theme and that got me to thinking about all of the zombie films I've seen.
Here are 10 that I like, in no particular order.

I didn't care much for Silent Hill, personally. The Italians make some good zombie movies. Check out Fulci's Zombi or Dellamorte Dellamore (known as Cemetary Man in the U.S.).

you pretty much hit my favorites. all the Evil Deads, Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead, silent hill....good stuff.

All great -- except "28 days later" which is one of my favorites, but technically not a zombie film, since the populace is not in fact undead, but just infected with a rage inducing viral outbreak. they all die of starvation after being quarantined... But awesome anyway and has that "everybody's a zombie and they are out to get me" theme. Did anyone like the modern remake of Dawn of the Dead with Ving Rhames? It just didnt capture the feel of the Romero originals. T.

@Phreak: I thought the Dawn remake with Ving was more entertaining than the original, but I still like the '78 version. If I had to rank them, I put the modern remake over the original for that reason.

Dude, you also forgot the best (and orginal) "Zombie Comedy" Return of the Living Dead" Who can forget the classic line "If you love me, then let me eat your BRAINS!" ?
