First off let me start off with the negative.

I HATE THE HOLIDAYS!

Anyday after Thanksgiving is already set in my head to suck. Now, I am normally not a pessimist. This is mainly just a defensive mentality I take to ensure I am properly prepared for the usual a-holes, stress-monsters, and general rude individuals that are populating our communities during the holidays. Or maybe I am just a grinch...either way it's bad.

WoW!

Now that that is over, lets talk about my hunter faux-pas in WoW the other night. I can laugh about it now, but at the time I was utterly flabbergasted at my noobishness. I will set it up..picture if you will.

Im a hunter...grinding to level 34 with just over a bubble to go. I make my way back to Southshore to turn in a couple quests to ding. Along the way I wind up trailing a 31 horde rogue...completely oblivious to me closing the distance. Instant decision..kill or show mercy.

Hmmm..let me think...

kill.

I roll in behind him...sick my pet on him, get ready for my opening shots that are almost guaranteed to take you to >20% helath. My pet closes in and I go to start the arrow barrage when I get the message

"Out Of Ammo".

WTF! I have no more arrows!!! ... QUICK! Recover! ... I race up to him and engage in melee, but just as I go to attack, he busts sprint on me and hauls out of there. Again..no arrows to concussion shot him and I lose the opportunity to wingclip as he skates out of melee range. Unbelievable. So for that moment I was the WORST hunter ever. I mean...who runs out of arrows really? The kicker is I have a 14 slot quiver. That 2800 arrows I can carry at a time. And I had not a single one! I was so ashamed.

Party

On to last night...my company Christmas party. Mandatory attendance. Now that I think about it...I dont even want to blog about it. Rotten food, rotten kids, I don't drink anymore (booze), a shitty Santa Claus, and a depressing slew of fake attitudes and false holiday wishes from people who would rather slash my tires than smile at me.

But there was GREAT coffee, even though I wanted to splash the scalding brew on the screaming kids that surrounded me I sat with a satisfied grin on my mug because of the good cups o' joe..(light and super sweet)

I dont have anything else to ramble about at the moment. Nor do I have any of that good coffee.... :-(

Fortunately we only have a mandatory Christmas lunch; no family, just present and retired employees. The boss doesn't drink and we all get along well...I HATED teddybears Christmas Party's when he worked at his last job; all the things you described above.
