Frustration and Elation - Not just 2 words that rhyme.

Frustration:

Playing a video game that has you repeat a level more than a dozen times due to bad save system or ridiculous difficulty. Seriously. When this happens to me in a video game it really ruins the whole game. A prime example of this is Gears of War. I was LOVING this game (single player), absolutely enthralled with it untill General Raam. I must have spent about 2 hours and over 20+ re-tries to finally whack the dude. (Those of you on my friends list got my super frustrated WTF message over live a couple days ago) Even though I beat him...and then beat him again on insane after just to get some pride back...it doesn't take away the fact that I want that developer who created that level to die in a burning car wreck. Preferrably while being pinned under excruciating weight while the fire slowly burns him to death.     P.S.  -  Thanks to all those who replied with the tips and tricks for slaying the cork soaker.

World of Warcraft is a great game. My frustration is more of a personal matter. I have whats known as CADD. (Class Attention Deficit Disorder) I have not made up my mind as to what class I am enjoying the most or want to invest all my time in. So far I have a tier-less/epicless 60 Rogue (on Blackrock) 34 Paladin, a 27 Warlock, a 14 Warrior, and I rolled a mage for my daughter this week. (She got her to level 6 in a couple of hours). And as with all of them, just when I get to a point where some really cool stuff starts happening (new spells, abilities, talents)..I get the "new toon bug". It's so frustrating. Each one is fun to play and unique in the way you have to succeed in the game. However, it's hard to figure out which one I like the most. I doubt I ever will. Never mind the 5 minutes it takes when I first log in and have to decide what toon to play.  /sigh  Although, come Burning Crusades...I will settle down with one main toon. I swear...no, really. I mean it. (Anybody want a peanut?)

Elation:

Rainbow Six :Vegas. Wow. This is a fun game. I am so happy with it (mainly multiplayer because single player is HARD). Good graphics, great sound, cool "leveling" system for your multiplayer character. I am still learning the ropes ( a moderate learning curve to be really competitive), but give me a few days and I'll be gunning at full force.

Viva Pinata = animal crossing +SIMS. And as addicting as the both of them. Although I havent played it in 2 days, but I know if I turn it on when I get home...I won't do anything else for the whole night.
