So this week is going by super fast. I was having a nice dinner with the Pirate Queen the other night and suggested that at our wedding in August we should have a smaller room set aside in the country club for a LAN. I'm still picking the asparagus bits off the wall. Work is going well, managing not to succumb to being a complete desk jockey by breaking up the day with working out ( www.crossfitwarehouse.com )and meandering around the other offices gluing peoples stuff (keys, mugs, pencils, important government documents, etc.) to their desks with this can of adhesive spray I found laying around last week. I am going to give it another week before I spill the beans about being the glue ninja. I even glued my calculator to my desk to make it look like I was a victim. I just purchased my daughter's tickets to fly out here in August for three weeks. She lives in TX with her mother. It used to cost about $180.00 for a round trip ticket to SoCal from TX...yesterday i paid $380.00. What a ripoff. I almost contemplated taking the 10 hour drive to go pick her up and make a road trip out of it, but I wound up dropping the coin. It just seems so unreasonable if you try to justify what that money goes to for a 2 hour flight. But, I am super excited and am already planning a kick ass summer with her. I am having an issue with some late night shenannigans going on in the apartment complex parking lot. Sounds to be a group of younger renters that are finally out of their parents house and are just going buck wild. They aren't doing anything especially illegal, just being really loud at 0200 (2 a.m.) and obviously drunk. So I'm debating on the soft edge approach (knock on their door and politely ask them to mind the neighbors at late night/early morning) or the hard edge approach (set up flash bangs and trip flares around their parking spot). I'll let you know how it goes. Time to get some grub. Thanks for reading!
