OK, I pay $4.95 per month to get Baby First TV on my dish network account, which pretty much makes all other channels obsolete.  and I have most of the episode of nearly every show memorized.  But it is supposed to provide cerebral stimulation for Katelyn so it is worth it???

I believe those early childhood programs have been linked to the cause of ADD. Stuff just moves around so fast that the child's brain adapts and needs the constant stimulation.

nope it wont help your kid. Reading will. Giving them toys (blocks and such) that they can manilpulate in 3 dimensions will. I think TV is good when you sit and watch and explain with them. We do that with Erica. We take scenarios from Backyeardigans and pretend play with them afterward. Or seseme street too. But... save your $4.95 and read/play with your kid. and relax... having fun with your child is the best stimulation! PM me if you need to .

Reading to your child is free, well except for the book but you can read the same one for 10 years so the cost is much less and I think much more cerebral stimulation and bonding.
