So I went back to Amazon to order Time Crisis 4 (per my previous deal), and noticed that Amazon has the iPod touch on sale.  When I got my 16gb one I paid $399 from Apple (and their 8gb one is $299).  Amazon has them on sale now (not sure how long this sale runs for):

8gb ipod touch for $269.99 with free shipping
16gb ipod touch for $368.99 with free shipping

The question is did she factor in the two eggs for the tip? Because that would have been like an extra 3 cents.

I wish they'd build a hard drive based version of the Touch. Like the Zune has two flash models and a hard drive model. Some people don't mind so much less storage just to get it so thin but to take full advantage of such a nice screen, i'd rather have it slightly bulkier with an 80gb drive. But i guess with Divx you can rip a full movie in about 200 megs lowish quality so you can still fit a bunch of stuff in 16gb. I think i'd still rather have an HD based one though.

Everytime I see ads for ipods I think the same hting. I remembre getting 1gb for my computer ages ago and thinkin g "1Gig!, I'll never use all of that..."
