it's the suck. 


I went back to the temp agency this morning...had to do the testing again because it'd been more than six months since I'd taken it the last time.  Scored higher on everything...and I am officially a Word Queen, not that it's hard or anything...100/100...w00t!  They don't have many openings...which is shitty, but my rep doesn't think they will have a hard time placing me at all....which would be great. 


I didn't get the job at the law firm I interviewed at last week, they ended up promoting from within so that kind of sucks...but she said she'd definitely consider me next time.  Don't know about the other job I interviewed at this week...but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  Still sending in resume's galore...hopefully one will strike someone the right way and they will be all up in my shit begging me to come work for them, lol. 


 Anyways...keep your fingers crossed for me if you would....thanks!  :D

My sister is looking for a job right now too and I've been urging her to go do some in person networking.\r Are there networking meet up [meetup.com] groups in your city? Someone had a good blog about it the other day, I think DevonsAngel... usually the good jobs don't get posted or don't go through agencies. Sometimes Yelp throws meet ups for their members as well. Craigslist.org is sometimes a good place to look too. \r \r Good luck though.

Thanks, KittenMag.\r \r I must have missed the blog DA did about meetup.com, I'll have to check them out, as well as Yelp. I check Craigslist quite frequently, and have been submitting resumes to those that I qualify for...and a few that I don't, lol. \r \r Thanks a bunch guys for the encouragement...I luvs you all. :D I do hate the economy though...it's the suck!
