Borderlands 2 - I can't say enough good things about this game other than it sucks to play alone. If you still haven't picked this one up, you are truly missing out on a great game with epic amounts of loot. I love looting and even better is taking awesome weapons right out from under the nose of my co-op team. The release of the Mechromancer DLC has really kept my interest in the game going as well. It's a really fun character to play with a sidekick, ass-kicking robot. I just wish I had more time to level her up. With the impending multiple playthroughs, I am probably going to stick with my Siren for now.
Dishonored - Though I picked this one up on release day, I waited until the weekend to play it. And, wow, was I glad I waited. I can't put this game down and ignored my family over the weekend so I could play it. Seriously, the storyline is fantastic along with the ability to play missions as a full frontal assault character or more stealthy as you try to take out targets and clear your name. I'm trying to go the stealth route, but failing miserably. The missions are challenging, even on normal and I die a LOT more than I'd like to. If you're looking for a cinematic single-player game, then you should really look into this one. I'll be playing this one as much as possible when the Borderlands team can't get together.

SO is the game taken down to it's nuts and bolts just the trial and error until you get it right formula?
