Entertainment Center

Since we don't have kids at home anymore,we have decided to convert our third beroom into a video game room. Now that the flat panel LCD TV's have come down in price, I thought I would get a 32" for that room. Well we have a nice entertainment center that we wanted to use for the TV. However the opening for the TV in the entertainment center is 31  1/4" wide. Every 32" flat panel TV that I have looked at is at least 31 3/4" wide. Nuts they won't fit!

I can get a 27" flat panel, but the price is not that much less than a 32". My wife insists on using the entertainment center, and I have to agree it is perfect for all the gaming systems, and storage of games.  I am trapped by my own Entertainment Center!!  I know ther are bigger problems in the world than this............but not many.

Hey sixTGunR, that's not a bad idea I wonder if I could get that to work? FatBastard, you could of stayed in my 31 1/4 inch entertainment center, but I'm gonna get a Tv for it now, you should have asked earlier.

of the lcd's you are looking at, are the measurements with or without the speakers on the sides? sometimes you can take the speakers off and then just run the sound through a a/v receiver..

I picked up a 23" LCD HDTV for my system and plugged it into an armoire with an articulating arm. It works out pretty good for me...keeps the kids out of it during the day.

Right, the ones with the speakers on the sides are even wider. The ones I looked at had the speakers under the screen. But thanks for your interest.
