It wasn't long before my son said he had found a great game that I would really like called Tomb Raider. As I began to play Tomb Raider, my wife who normally had no interest in playing a video game, became fasinated by Laura, and all the things the character could do. Soon we had devised away we could play the game together. One person would have the controller while the other person would sit on the couch giving directions, go to the left, open that door, Shoot! Shoot!, ect. then we would trade. On week ends we played till the wee hours of the morning.
But the greatest night of all was the night that my wife was at the controlls sneaking very carefully down some passageway. Just as she rounded a corner a giant something leaped out at her. She went over backwards in her chair jerking the controller right out of the playstation! Fortunatly she was uninjured, but we still laugh about that night.
Since then we have played Knights of The Old Republic together, and we are looking forwar to MASS EFFECT. But those early days of Tomb Raider sure were fun!
