So I finished portal last night. I admit weakness and will say that I did get stuck twice and resorted to a walk through just for those parts. One I should have been able to figure out but I approached it wrong. The second I would have never figured out, but probably should have.

I want to ramble on about the game like I did about Bioshock, as for a puzzle shooter it has a surprising amount of story.  However I really don't want to spoil it.  It's a short enough game to merit a rental and play though on it's own merits and a purchase if you want to play though Half Life 2 and it's episodes.  The portal story does seem to tie into Half Life's tale as well, however I missed Half Life the first time around so I'm just now getting into it.

If you like games with really witty writing then play portal, and turn captioning on.  While the captions aren't always quite what was said they helped my ears hear what was going on better.
