While grabbing said frosty beverage I spy a couple of dusty bottles of George Stagg Bourbon sitting on the shelf. I could not believe me eyes there was the probably one of the finest bourbons made just collecting dust. Needless to say I purchased both bottles at a reasonable price of 49.99 each. I have seen this as high as 150 a bottle. This bourbon is 140 proof and tastes wonderful straight with no ice or water. If you let it sit for around 10 minutes it opens the flavors up even more. I talked to the guy behind the counter and luckily he is the owner. I found out he is an approved dealer of Buffalo Trace and he gets it in time to time because he likes it. I think I have a new best friend. He will even try to get me some Sazerac and Thomas H. Handy. Both made by Buffalo Trace. If you get the chance to try this or buy it I suggest you do. If any of you are coming to the Chi Town Lan I will bring a bottle with me to share.
