Massenez

While making my mother a cheesecake for mothers day this Saturday I ran out of Kirsch(cherry flavored brandy). I went out to get some more and I have not found one that I really like so I try a new brand every time I run out. Well I picked up a bottle of Massenez Kirsch. It has a nice aroma not overpowering at all. it is a little light in alcohol content at 80 proof but it makes up for it in flavor. You can taste the cherries,fantastic. This is not something I would drink regularly but with a nice slice of cheesecake or some other fruity dessert it will go wonderfully. I do suggest chilling it first. I will try the William Larue Weller wheated whiskey tomorrow at the party so I will more then likely write up my thoughts on that as well. Cheers and Happy Mothers Day to all of the Mothers out there.
