Question - if you were put in charge to re-vitalize or re-invent a old game property, what game would it be, for what platform (PC, Handheld, Console(s)) and what changes would you make?
Some people came up with some seriously insane ideas and some were good, bad and WTF?!
My answer was simple.
I would remake Crusader No Remorse in 3rd person on a console (360), keeping the violence level high, environmental damage to the extreme and use the stop and pop game play that Gears of War gave us but have the cover destructable so you can not just hide for to long.
Also.. I would love to take Wing Commander and create a new game, keeping the Space Opera story/feel, mixed with some major controls for your ship (think the robot mech game for Xbox by Capcom but also have it work with a standard controller), full Multiplayer, and do a Xbox/PC version. Screw the PS3 and lack of rumble.
What would you do? Tons of great games sitting collecting dust.. what needs a true next gen experience life line?
