HDTV Switch Box (ebay link)

if you are like me and only have 3 HD-TV inputs in your TV and you have more then 3 HD-TV sources this is a good switch box to get. I got mine a couple weeks ago and while the price worried me its great with no signal loss, video/audio look the same as if it was direct and while it says 4, that is true, there are only 3 with audio, the fourth one is just high def video input like from a Camera or computer with HD outputs.

My only problem and it is not with the box was the fact when I went to buy cables to go from the box to my TV, the only ones I could find were Monster brand and while they are excellent quality you pay more for that MONSTER name. The only Monster product I really like to buy is their power strips/bars that are surge protectors because they have saved me before.

The box is unpowered which is nice, so no need to waste a plug in slot or waste power when our consoles and TVs are sucking the power down. The buttons are easy to push but luckily are not something your cat can bump and change the source and you die before you pause your game to switch it back.

I have my Xbox 360, Xbox and Wii ran through it and all run great in HD mode (PS3 is in via HDMI which this box does not have) but I have run the PS3 through it and is great.  There is no delay with Wii movement games (was a concern), and 1080i, 720p, 480p, 480i all look the way they are supposed to which was also a concern since my last HD switch did not do 480p/1080i very well there was almost a grain filter disrupting the view.

The space between the cables could be bigger for people with big hands if you need to remove a source that us plugged in and fat fingers get in the way, but it is really not a big deal.

I bought mine from ebay, from this person and it was shipped fast to Canada (a big concern I dont trust ebay very often) even those with high ratings.
