Losing power sucks

I woke up this morning (well technically at 130pm, but I was up until 7am watching Season 9 of SG1) and we had no power... no phone (because wireless), my cell was dead, no TV, no internet, no computer (besides laptop, but no net..).. and boy does that suck.. bad... bad..... bad...........bad

It was only down for an hour or so but damn thats a long hour.. Im too addicted to power and the goodness that comes with it.

Laptop's are handy for that reason. Got a good laptop preloaded with some Divx movies/shows, music, couple games and you're good for a couple hours.

Wait a minute here, you have SG1 season 9 on DVD?

ya came yesterday, I didnt watch it at all on TV and it is awsome, kinda sad Jack is gone, but damn new team is great, new story line is great.\r \r Seriously hope it finds a new home.

I had a thunderstorm the other day knock out power for a couple minutes. After that I shut everything off and unplugged it just in case. I just kept my router and laptop going. However, with no power I'd stroll to my local pub to see if they have power. If so I would use their wireless internet :) Hopefuly they aren't on the same grid as me.
