Shared on Thu, 02/15/2007 - 19:25If you are a gamer child of the early 1990's you know of Lucasarts and their huge number of SCUMM games which really were a gamers dream, full of humor, adventure, sex, violence and crazy ass rabbits.
Not many know that the series Sam and Max has come back in episodic content and unlike SiN (which is dead) and Half Life 2 (Which is forever delayed.. opps wait.. Valve is.. delaying it again... losers) this games episodic content is steady, good, and damn funny.
The reason I bring up Sam and Max new game is I was surprised by how many people who are looking for new games to play on the PC, didnt know it was out yet (bad marketing) or that unlike other episodic games it was actually getting episodes.
They are cheap, award winning games, perfect for some fun, and you can order an entire season of the content for less then many store bought games with 1/4 of the actual content for $35 bucks.. (3 of the 6 episodes are out now, at 9-10 bucks each or 35 for the season...)
In the age of countless MMOs and RTS Clones its nice to see a game come out that is fun and not a clone of everything else.. Rumor also has it that Telltale is brining this to the Wii, but not sure yet. Also you dont need a major PC to play it, that is a big bonus.
