Shared on Tue, 12/19/2006 - 12:55Yesterday, bad migraine, couldnt sleep, even on meds (which is rare) I was laying in bed watching Video on Demand I watched a couple 1980's sci fi movies.. Runaway with Tom Selleck and Predator.
I really got into Runaway a movie I have not seen probably in a decade and was amazed that the technology they use in the movie such as smart missile bullets and the robot home maid are here. Future Weapons (A&E TV show) had a feature on the smart missile fired from a gun and while it doesnt have that cool fish eye mounted camera, it can go around corners. Plus we have robot maids that vacuum and mop floors, auto scrubbers and litterbox cleaners (thank you) but the litter box one isnt really robotic, just a damn god send.
Predator didnt tell the future but its just a cool movie..
