I'm not sure what to think about this either.
However there a couple of soud bites in that clip that I fundamentally don't agree with. One which stated that anything based of something so tragic as Columbine should automatically be offensive. This got me thinking about all the WWII shooters that are out there.
If you view war as tragic then you should also be protesting COD3??
@Carbon..
ya I agree..
Personally I do not see why we dont have a game where you can play as a German soldier in WW2.
Not all the German soliders were Nazi's most were totally offended about the Nazi final solution.
There is plenty of entertainment in the world that is of questionable taste.
Luckily, people aren't forced to view or partake or be subjected to it, be it a game, movie, book or song. Thank goodness for freedom of choice.

I don't think it is as deep as many would like to make it out to be.
I wonder...WHY???? Why does a game have to be so "IMPORTANT" as is said many times in that video. Why does a game have to fix the world. It doesn't and I don't think that the makers of that game were going for that. I think they were going for what they got, the shock factor.
Also, I don't think drawing a comparison between this and WWII shooters is fair. First, this is much more personal. Second, using a WWII game to justify this..well, lets imagine this was Super World Trade Center Massacre game and the player was taking the role of the hijackers. Or this was super invade Iraq massacre, imagine the outcry for offending the Muslim world.
