NFL rumors

With this being the first week of free agency, there have been many outstanding rumors going around the NFL! One of them I would like to comment on.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh from the Bangels.

Here is a talented wide receiver that changes the way defenses line up against him. T.J. didnt have a great year last season but that was due to a failing team that not even Dan Marino himself could save ending the season at 4-11. However in 2007 he had over 1,000 yards and 12 TD's with the team finishing 7-9 and missing the playoffs.

The team I would like to see pick Houshmanzadeh is the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are on the tip of a 2nd in a row league championship if they can make some key additions to their team. The obvious work horse for the Vikings is Adrian Peterson at RB. AP has had two of the best seasons as a RB and has already chewed up 3100+ yards and 22 TDs! The other key (rather obvious) great additions to the team are Jarad Allen (from KC) and Bernard Berrian (from CHI)! Both of these animals have brought a home town favorite into a winning team again!!

Adding TJ into this mix at WR will force teams to double cover him as he is a huge deep threat. With an equal threat coming from AP at running back being able to break for 20+ yards at the bat of an eye, opposing teams will be forced to deal with threats at RB and WR. Lets us not forget about the acquisition of Madieu Williams (from CIN) at FS and 1st time ProBowler Cedric Griffin at CB. The Williams Wall (Pat and Kevin Williams) controls the center of the defensive line and WILL be starting for the team come the season opener!

So you see that adding TJ Houshmandzadeh to the Minnesota Vikings will make this team 2010 Super Bowl Champions! There have been lesser teams that have won the Super Bowl in recent memories (Carolina, Green Bay, NYG, just to name a few). It doesn’t matter if the Vikings have a QB or not, any team with this much talent can put anyone back there with any talent and Minnesota will be Super Bowl Champs!
