Getting fed up

The blog ratings are not very effective, a couple of my last two are 6 and 4 (positive) and its off the top 4 quick, even if the ones in the top 4 are in the negative. I just ignore the blog ratings, we do have some people who are trolls, most are not but some people are forum trolls.

@fecknmental Don't even spend anytime caring about one vote down. Let me explain why 1) it takes several vote downs to even effect your position in the top 4. One vote down with do absolutely nothing to your spot. 2) Anyone who votes you up, cancels out your vote down, so even if you had -5 and +6 it would not affect your space in top 4 @Falelorn Actually a lot of people don't understand how the system works, which is why they don't see how effective it is. Voting up does not mean you get more time in the top 4. Instead, voting up is used to keep members at the current spot they are in. So, if you were to be voted down -5 and started to fall off the top 4, but then 6 people vote you up to say +6, then you will remain at your current position. Even if you got another +18 on top of that it wouldn't move you any further up the list of top 4. So then if someone comes along and writes a new blog, you will automatically get pushed down to the next slot. We do this to prevent one person from staying at the top all day long. Everyone still gets the same amount of chance in the top 4. You just have the ability to move them down faster. I agree with doodi about people not understanding the system. That was exactly my thought when half way through your blog. Also there are a lot of members here and if .02% didnt like you that would be quite a few individuals but a small portion of the total. I feel some people might be jealous of the time & effort you and some others put into your blogs and may be lashing out, dunno. I dont watch the vids cuz my pc has no sound card but I for one enjoy your blogs writing content. You always have something interesting to say or topic, not just what you had for dinner like some here.lol Do your own thing man, thats part of what bein heres all about! Cheers.
