Quiiting Smoking :(

Well i have finally bitten the bullet and decided i need to quit smoking due to my asthma.
I had my last ciggerette 16/10/06 @ 03:30 and then stuck my silly nicotine plaster thingy on lol.
Woke up feeeling rougher than a bag of shit but still not had my morning smoke which is damn hard. I am really not looking forward to tihs i love my cigerettes and am already chattering away desperate for one but i must focus.

Fingers crossed it works i have been smoking a very very very long time i am now 28 and had my fisrt 1 when i was 6 but doc says i will be lucky to see 50 so had to think of my family on this one.

Hopefully, you didn't keep your cigs in your shirt pocket, my buddy who's a carpenter ripped two pockets off of his shirts reaching for the missing pack of cigs. It's wierd, but even now (after over 6 years) he says he could still smoke a ciggerette as long as his truck. I guess some people still long for that cig long after the physical craving dies. But I also know some people who kicked the habit and now have no desire for them. Good luck w/your endeavor. I'd stay patched up for a while and use gum to keep your mouth busy.

Yeah am using gum went through a packet in the space of an hour that was the hardest obstacle missing out on that glorious morning smoke. As lonbg as i keep my hands busy i should be ok so it will be either more gaming or typing to keep me amused lol.

How much do cigs cost there? Have you ever thought of substituting cigars, or a pipe till you wean off? Drink lots of coffee and play Halo. Good luck.

Thanks Cofc :) For a packet of 20 cigerettes its about £5.60ish which is $10.4742 so as you can see if you smoke that day its a damn lot lol. I drink loads of coffee and play a shit load of halo so nothing to change there lol.
