Space Invaders is a great remake. It supports rumble pak, online stats and one card/two DS downloadable multiplayer. It's fast paced and has a laser cannon, a broad shot cannon, a bomb cannon and a shield. You try and rack up points w/ multipliers, chained combos and specialty rounds. It is quite a light show, also.
I only played this game for about 20 minutes. It's colorful and has a funk/jazz soundtrack. I think there might be some techno in there. It's pretty standard other than that. Bounce ball..........break bricks with a few power ups. There are a couple of games out like this already. Break 'em all, which is an annoying version of Arkanoid. And Nervous Brickdown. Nervous Brickdown is what I went in to buy, but Gamestop seemed to have lost there one copy................bastards. And!......the Space Invaders game was stuck in an envelope somewhere out of the case, but they still sold it as a new game! This happened to me w/ Forza 2, also. If it's out of the case it's not new!!! I guess I looked desperate enough to pay full price for a used last copy. Gamestop likes to screw w/ you if you don't "pre order" games. They really train the employees to push the customer to pre order.
