Neighborly "Love"

So last night I wasn't feeling so hot.  Got a shower and crawled into bed around 8:30pm. (I know it's pathetic).  I was sound, and I mean SOUND asleep when our neighbors, who suck by the way, started putting off crazy fireworks.  Now, don't get me wrong, I know the reason that has allowed me to bitch about this is a direct impact of Independence Day.  But it wasn't Independence Day, or even the 3rd, which rolls into Independence Day and almost everyone I know has off the 4th.  Nope, it was the 2nd of July.  To top it off, they were using MY yard to do this.  We have a 1-acre lot next to us, almost completely clear of trees and flat as flat can be.  PERFECT for fireworks. OUR fireworks, not theirs.
Visualization:

They didn't ask to come over, they just started putting them off, and not until 10:15pm.  And I do mean the illegal ones.  Not that we won't be doing that in OUR yard tonight (starting much earlier than 10:15pm).... They faced them from the house (seen in visualization) and shot them from OUR yard towards OUR house.  Now, without causing any friction with the neighbors, although I was thoroughly pissed off, I would like to send them a message to not be so rude.  Particularly because there are firework remnants throughout our yard and all that fun.. I was thinking of coming home after work, cleaning up the yard and putting all of the things I pick up into their driveway.  I guess that would cause friction though. *sigh*  If they come over while we are putting our stuff tonight, I will jokingly (yet seriously) say "you guys are going to help clean up since you all put your stuff off in our yard last night, right??"..
Oh well, I feel better getting this out.  People are rude, that's all there is to it.  I'm not a morning person, let alone a wake-me-up-after-I'm-sound-asleep-with-loudness person by putting fireworks off in my own yard shooting them at my own house.

Oh well, everyone be careful with the fireworks tonight and tomorrow--- in the words of one of my clanmates "remember to light and run like hell".

don't let them get away with it. If they walk over once they will do it again.

My neighbor planted some ugly ass flowers under our adjoining mailboxes which happen to be on my property. I think they are snowbirds, so I plan on ripping them out this fall.

I would go over there after work and ask them "politely" to clean up the aftermath of their "beautiful" firework display last night. Also ask them to get your permission for any future fun they may have appointed for "your yard". Then tell them to be looking out a little later for your fireworks. Try a PC (politically correct) attempt, and it all else fails....I would gather up there trash and drop it off directly on there front door step, and I'd probably say something not too nice. :)

Yeah, you have to nicely call them on it or they will continue to take advantage of you.

Thanks all... we'll probably see them tonight, so I will try to get up the courage to say something- I am very non-confrontational...

Ya 4th of july is one of the most annoying holidays mostly because of the rudness and how inconsiderate people are. most cities here have banned fireworks but it doesn't stop morons from getting them from cities who haven't and bringing them back and shooting them off.

Go with option 2. If they blow you off. Then I would go with option 1. If they are going to pull that crap on you, on your property, they obviously didn't think to much about you to start with, and friction is always nice. Keeps you from slipping. "Fences, make good neighbors"
